Thank you so much for all those who came along to support the performers of Irving Stage Company for an evening of song and dance from favourite West End and Broadway shows. This is in support of the local branch of The Samaritans – a very worthwhile cause.
The stage came alive with the magic of the musicals featuring well-known numbers from favourite shows. Composers include Sondheim, Lloyd Webber, Porter, Kander and Ebb, and many others, plus some beautiful classical pieces as well.
There were solos, duets and company numbers from:
A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum; Sunset Boulevard; Follies; Hamilton; Anything Goes; Kiss Me Kate; Waitress; A Chorus Line; Cabaret; Moulin Rouge; Spamalot; Jekyll and Hyde; Witches of Eastwick, Something Rotten; Little Shop of Horrors and Les Miserables!
This was a perfect show for musical theatre lovers of all ages.
